Pigs Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale
PIG's EAR & Gina and Jeremy at the Kentish Horse hope you can join us for FOLK ALE 2010!
A weekend of music and merriment in a lovely country pub, with beautiful views overlooking the Weald of Kent and Sussex.
While billed as a 'Folk' Ale, really any type of music goes, as long as it's "a wonderful noise!" (as Keith's 'Festival Song' from last year had it)! This year there will be concerts in the garden marquee with JEZ LOWE on Friday night, MOVEABLE FEAST on Saturday and the BULLY WEE BAND on Sunday, along with a whole rich array of other musical performers...watch this space for more details!... For those of you who also want to have a play, JAM SESSIONS will be going on in the bar throughout the weekend; those of you who have been before will know the awesome and magical sounds that have been produced during these! As at the last couple of Ales, those feeling the need to work off some of that beer and do some exercise can join in the MAYPOLE DANCING workshop - open to everyone!
The Kentish Horse stocks a good selection of real ales and ciders and also dishes up some jolly good grub. Camping will again be available in the field at the back of the pub (if you haven't been before, take note: it is just a field and nothing fancy - if it rains, it can get muddy!). There are also a number of B&B's in and around Edenbridge, if camping just 'ain't your thang'. The nearest shops, bank and cashpoint are also in Edenbridge.
We hope to see you there!
